WebFeb 8, 2010 · Presently the dryer is making loud thunking noise (I think it is the part that makes the drum reverse direction). I am in the process of buying a new dryer and it isn't a Fisher & Paykel! Even the repairman told me that it was not unusual to have at least three repairs a year.
