Splet26. jul. 2008 · I walked up to Walnut Bottoms before getting on the Swallow Fork Trail. Access was marginal for much of the way, but not too bad after about a half mile. Swallow Fork, a dandy brook trout stream with a few rainbows mixed in. The stream was predominantly brook trout with a few rainbows along the way. SpletIgnore the Swallow GFork Trail and stay on the Big Creek Trail and cross the creek to the next trail intersection. At this point the Low Gap trail comes on on the right.This point is 5.25 miles from the trailhead and thus far you have gained 1400 feet in elevation.
