WebJan 1, 2024 · After make (NB I've never done this before to install or update an app) I find that there is an rsync executable file in the "expansion" directory (yep, version is indeed 3.1.3), and two .yo files: rsync.yo and rsyncd.conf.yo. I presume that the thing to do now is to replace the existing 3.1.1 version of rsync at /usr/bin/ with the new rsync.
